My work is about preservation, whether it be natural resources or ancient artifacts. My atrium sculptures and commissioned wall mounted pieces are site-specific and inspired by the environment and the area surrounding the installation. I work closely with architects, designers and developers. Natural, recycled and organic materials are available for LEED buildings. Artwork is also available for Evidence-Based design applications.

Public Art Project for NJ Library Headquarters
Suspended Atrium Sculpture
In the atrium of the Ocean County Library Main Branch, Toms River, NJ, I constructed two 7 by 6 foot double-sided “soft paintings” using dye sublimation technology. One hangs horizontally and one vertically. This technology uses heat to infuse dye into industrial fabric, the result is an extraordinarily vibrant image that can be used without concern that the colors will fade or run.
The theme of the work is aquatic using abstract imagery to depict ocean shallows with sunbeams filtering through the water. The work is pigmented in hues of blues, greens and sand colored tan-oranges. There are hints of silver to integrate the stainless steel framing of the glass UV filter suggesting sea foam. Stitching which holds the textile layers together implies water motion and bubbles.
The aluminum armature has a slight S-curved to indicate wave motion.
